What are you talking about?

Well I've been sitting back for a while now listening to different artist and what I've come to realize is that no one has anything to talk about. What happened to putting your life over a beat? What happen to telling your true story?
Everything out these days sounds the same. There is no creativity in this so called music industry.
There's is nobody around that's believes in your music to the point that they will push you the right way. I'm not saying they won't push you. I'm just saying they won't put their all into it. And thats sad to say.
It seems like dance music has taken over. And I don't knock the hustle but damn? Is that all that gets play out here? There is no lyrical content to it. Just basically different versions of shake your ass.
There is also a lot of freestyle artist that have horrible beat selection, and that's why your songs sound like shit. Music should be a story about something. Whether negative or positive talk about something. That's all I ask.....

MTV2 Prepping Hip-Hop Version Of Hollywood Squares Called Hip-Hop Squares

» by C. Vernon Coleman II March 30, 2012, 14:45pm

MTV2 is in the process of revamping the popular game show Hollywood Squares, with a little twist. According to Entertainment Weekly, the show, that originally had a nearly five decade run on NBC, will be renamed Hip-Hop Squares and feature the likes of Ghostface Killah, Fat Joe, Mac Miller, DJ Khaled, Nick Cannon, Biz Markie, Machine Gun Kelly and more as the panelist trying to figure out trivia questions.

MTV2's programming chief Paul Ricci thinks the hip cast members of the new incarnation will play a large role in resurrecting the once beloved television program. “They cross the spectrum from musicians and celebrities to athletes and causal fans of hip hop,” said Paul Ricci. “The show will refresh an iconic format and create a fun, dynamic series that's unpredictable, heavy on personality and much more ‘party' than ‘game show.'”

The original Hollywood Squares aired off and on from 1966-2004. In the game, two contestants judge whether or not a panel of nine celebrities – who are sitting in the shape of a tic-tac-toe board – are answering trivia questions correctly. The contestants must strategically pick which celeb to answer the question and need to get three in a row in order to win.

MTV2 will air 10 episodes of Hip-Hop Squares on Tuesdays, beginning on May 22 at 11 p.m.

Birdman On Jay-Z Diss:

Birdman spoke up recently about Jay-Z's perceived dig at him on the track "It's Good." Back in 2010, Jay tossed off a line about having 'baby money,' that everyone interpreted as a diss aimed squarely at Bryan "Birdman/Baby" Williams--and the Cash Money CEO shared his reaction to hearing the song for the first time.

"I thought that was funny for a n*gga to holler out 'baby money,'" Birdman says. "I was like, "Wow, f*ck, what do you mean 'Baby money'? N*gga, that ain't no little money. We around here getting it. It wasn't nothing, we ain't trip. I was like, 'Yeah, since it's such a big deal, f*ck yeah we got 'Baby Money.' That Bugatti and that Lauder jet comes from 'Baby Money.'"

"I don't think ['It's Good'] is a diss record. It wasn't more than what he said. N***as was G'ing up about what was said," Birdman continued. "We did that, done that, off that brother. We're on our money train."

Big Sean isn't concerned with the feud hip hop veteran Ludacris launched against he and Drake late last year. While neither side has said much about the beef lately, Sean appears to have completely moved on from the incident.

When asked about Luda, Sean just smiled.

"I just think people are trying to get attention," Sean says. "I don't really give a f*ck though. I'm just going to do my thing. I don't really care about Ludacris in any way. It don't even matter. I'm pretty sure he's gonna...nevermind. I do wish much success to him and I hope he continues to be a great rapper."
